Something malfunctioned and now I cant close my moon roof. If you know a way I can manually close my moon roof that would be great.
Answer:If Acura has common sense, like Audi, there should be a manual crank in the area where the switch is.
i really really like how smooth the RL became when i put amsoil engine oil in it. so i want to put the amsoil atf that is for honda which is the Z1. i called the dealership and they said that amsoil atf would damage the tanny! IS THIS TRUE OR JUST A SCAM?
Answer:I don't know if it will damage it, but Honda transmissions don't work smoothly with much of anything besides Honda lubricants. You can put Dexron in the Honda auto transmission, for example, but it will shift roughly. You can put 30 W engine oil in a Honda manual gearbox but it will be balky. People report Redline lubricants work as well as the Honda ones, but nothing else is known to work well.
the mechanic can't explain it but it runs like it is cold with the engine missing. What could the issue be?
Answer:The first thing i would check is if any plug wires were crossed vacuum line not installed in the proper place, a cracked vacuum hose, but it sounds much more like the timing belt was incorrectly installed, 1 flat off on the crank or cam pulleys will cause a problem. i know you don't want to hear it but if the external (what was worked on) isn't the problem, then don't look for ghosts, go to what was disturbed. good luck
It is recommended at 105,000 miles to have the following done. My question...is all of this necessary? Can I wait on some or all of the work? Will it affect my car if I do wait? It seems to be running just fine now. Change spark plugs, engine coolant, brake fluid replaced, tire balanced, calipers checked and recalibrated, tires rebalanced.
Answer:i own a repair shop, and you can probably wait on some of it,,but its not a bad ides to get it all checked out,,all this stuff is important to the running of the vehicle,,and the stopping of it,,good luck i hope this help,s.
i was thinking about swaping, but ive checked some reviews and the RL is 210hp stock buts its a 3.5 v6, however the 95 legend type2 is 230hp but a 3.2 liter any info is appreciated. thanks the rl is 224 ft-lbs. the legend is 210 ft-lbs.
Answer:And take both of those horsepower ratings, and toss them out the window. 1. That's horsepower at the engine. What you'll make at the wheels will be a good 15% less than that. So comparing the two that way, is pointless. 2. You want torque. You can have tons of horsepower, but with no torque, the car won't be quick. So, find out the torque ratings, and use that to compare.
