I have a 1996 acura rl, everything is brand new under hood except for the engine which is still the standard v6 3.5L engine. Does anyone know if this engine can be outfitted with a turbocharger? and/or any other parts you may know of to increase hp in it...ty :)

Answer:turn key off. hold the trip reset buttin (by the speedo)then turn the key on hold for thee sec that should do it
I am a female and of course I get ripped off alot by mechanics. I found my taillight from another Acura owner and I am tired of paying for mechanics labor. Can I do it myself?
Answer:You could do it yourself.It's easier if someone else does it,but here you go.Open the trunk and look on the passenger side of the car where the tail light is.Usually there is plastic wing nuts holding the interior cover on,remove them.If there not there,pull back the cover.The tail light is attached to the car with nuts,remove them and pull on the taillight assembly,or push on the studs the nuts were on and remove taillight.Install in reverse.Good luck,it's not that hard,you'll figure it out i just know it.
Being as there are many electronic functions that flow through the current wheel, my standard RL wheel, I was wondering if it is even possible to do.
Answer:It'll turn the car, but won't be able to control the stereo or cruise control. Btw, why are you putting a racing steering wheel in a luxury sedan? No offense, but the RL isn't really a sports car, weighing in at 2 tons... But, whatever floats your boat...
The back trunk is the only thing I like about the new facelifted 2009 Acura RL... I figured that since the new model received a "facelift" and not a completely new redesign, many of the 2008 and 2009 parts are interchangeable.
Answer:Even if it will, you will be lowering the value of the 08 by doing it (without even getting into the cost of buying one since it would have to be new, installed, painted, etc). If you tried to sell the 08 a few years from now and it has a trunk lid from an 09, I would assume it was in an accident. By the time you add it all up, it would probably be cheaper to trade in for the new one, and then you'll get all of the other enhancements that have been added
