I want to change my 93 vigor to rear wheel drive- what can i do?
Answer:First find a compatible engine and tranny, about $3,000, then have a custom drive shaft made $1,500, custom motor mounts made $800, have the complete wiring system of the car converted for the new engine $5,000, have a custom rear suspension setup made to allow for a solid rear axle $5,000, have a solid rear axle custom made $4,000, channel the interior of the car to allow for the driveshaft $2,000 get a new style rack and pinion system for the front $2,500, get a news steering shaft made $1,500, have a custom shift assembly fabricated to allow for the tunneling of the interior $2,000, relocate the front seats and remove the rear seats $1,000, get a custom exhaust made to allow for the driveshaft $800, and find a mechanic or shop that will do this. So basically you can spend $30,000+ on a $500 car or go buy a Toyota Supra with 320 HP stock Rear wheel drive. Your choice.
