Latest Chevrolet Lumina Frequently Asked Questions:
In the past month I have changed the radiator in my car, but now the fans wont turn on. I really don't have the money to put it in the shop again. I am slightly mechanically inclined and would like to, if I can, do it myself. I have already changed the fan motors.
Answer:a sensor in the cooling system, there is one for the gage and one for the fan.
Should I work from under the hood or should I work from inside the passenger compartment? If inside the passenger compartment is it behind the passenger side glove box or behind the radio? If under the hood do I need to take out the blower fan? I bought the Hayes book and it doesn't even mention the resister so the only info I have is by looking at the part and it looks like it seats against thee fire wall but I havent been able to find it by looking.
Answer:Try tracing the wiring back from the blower motor. The resister pack in most cars is located in the ventilation air stream to cool it, so look along the ducts. start under the hood just because it's easier to eliminate that area first.

Its called a Holden Commodore over here. there are allot of cars made by US companys that are extremely popular, but haven't made it to the US yet. Ford Falcon, There is an entire range, Sedan, Wagon, Ute, Turbo Sedan and Ute, V8 Sedan and Ute. Holden Commodore, also an entire range, Sedan Wagon and Ute, they seem to have gone more BIG style, only producing V8s in their sports range Utes and Sedans. I am trying to find info on adjusting the overdrive belt on the tranny.
Answer:Go to http://www.carfiche.com/. They have many car manuals there. They're on a shifting schedule on when they are available for download, due to a high amount of traffic to the site downloading stuff. So if you can't download it, wait an hour.
