Latest Chrysler LHS Frequently Asked Questions:
1997 chrysler LHS, owned 15 days. Took to Car-X and the 2 codes were the Solinoid and the Idle, just to start. They said that I should not put any money into the car. In here I read a car lasted until 212k. What should I do.
Answer:Don't do anything, if it's not bothering you.
I have a Chrysler LHS, and it has been under warranty since it was bought, so we were always able to get the oil changed for free. Now, the warranty is over, and we have to change the oil ourselves. I bough the oil and filter, and put it up on our ramps, and I could not find the oil pan or filter anywhere under the car. Anybody have any ideas?
Answer:It's bolted to the bottom of the engine block. If you know that little about cars, I would suggest have an oil change shop or repair shop do the work.
How many gallons are in the 1994 chrysler LHS Sedan gas tank. and how many mpgs does it get? Is this a good reliable car also?
Answer:either engine option will get you close to the same fuel mileage. i have a 94 with a 3.3. when it is almost completely empty it will take close to 17 gallons, so i think it is an 18 gal tank. i drive 65 miles a day, in and out of town. there are 2 stretches that are straight line 55 mph 10 miles long. the rest is somewhat stop and go. my car has almost 215000 miles and i still average almost 29 mpg.
I have a 99 Chrysler LHS with the 9 speaker infinity amplified sound system, and I want to add the parrot 3200LS COLOR bluetooth kit, and later an aftermarket head unit. I ordered the MET BT1817 harness for the bluetooth, and I want to know what radio harness I need. I have been told it is the MET 70-1818, or the 1817.
Answer:The Metra BT-1817 contains the same harness you will need to install an aftermarket radio. The radio install harness is the 70-1817. The BT-1817 is a plug kit that contains the 70-1817 harness and the 71-1817 harness together in one package. (note: The 70-series harness plugs into the car and the 71-series harness plugs into the factory radio) Go to http://metraonline.com/fit.aspx and look your car up and you can see pictures of all those harnesses to see what I am talking about.
