Answer:full tune up..... i.e.- new air filter, fuel filter, oil and filter, spark plugs, anti-freeze, O2 sensors, pcv valve and add a can of sea foam engine treatment to the gas and another can to the oil and intake. i believe this engine is coil on plug so wires, cap and rotor button are not needed. also it helps to make sure your tire pressure is correct and it helps to rotate and balance your tires.oh and a transmission filter and fluid change would help too. good luck.

im looking at a dodge intrepid for $300 but they say it wont start in the winter any idea what might cause that?
Answer:a bad temperature sensor will cause one to not start in cold weather like that,and sometimes they wont even leave a trouble code on the computer,so you might get this car pretty cheap,but don't mention to them that you have an idea of what it might be,after or if you you get it run a fuel pump pressure test on it and scan the computer,that's cheap enough on it if it runs,good luck.
How do you replace the battery of a 2002 Dodge intrepid. Seems to be harder to get to than i thought it would be.
Answer:if I remember correctly, the battery is on the drivers side and the way to get to it is to turn your steering wheel all the way to the left, then you will see an access panel in the fender well, remove battery strap and replace battery
