i have a 2005 dodge magnum R/T and it performes and sounds great! of course i want better. i want to know how can i increase the performance and get a deeper sound coming from the muffler while spending less as possible. i was looking at replacing the whole exhaust system but a buddy of mine said i can just replace the muffler to get the deep sound? any pros out there could help me out?
Answer:Borla exhaust makes a great sounding (deep) exhaust for MoPars. Also adds performance. Do an air intake kit (K&N or AFE) & the exhaust. If you really want to spend some cash, supercharge it while your @ it! Have fun whatever you do!!
I have a 2005 dodge magnum that makes a loud vibrating sound when performing low speed turns, generally under 10mph such as when pulling into a parking space or making sharp slow turns. It gets louder the tighter you turn. I'm not sure how loud it is outside of the car but it can get pretty loud inside. The car is AWD and I have recently replaced the front brakes, tie rod ends and put new tires all the way around. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
Answer:check power steering fluid first, then go from there, it is possible something is binding and may be related to some of the recent work, take it back to the shop if possible, also make double sure the tires were the correct size , If there is a Les Scwab nearby, good shops will give you a free inspection, just tell them you want to makes sure its safe to drive home, and if they find a mechanical problem take it back to the people who changed the front end parts. also there might be something related to the traction control. do some research on line check and see if dodge has a web site, or type in YEAR make and model on the net and see where it takes you a little patience, and some of your time, I would do this sooner rather than later, good luck
I have been having problems with my dodge magnum 5.7 liter for the past week. The lights flicker on and off. Changed the alternator, but right before having it changed on my way home the car cut off on me. I need to know what is the power train warranty on the 2005 model. i need to know the mileage, he car is still not running.... thanks
Answer:3-year 36 thousand miles was standard warranty, with extended it could either be 7 year 70 thousand ,it should be listed in the paper work or the owners manual they always put a paper in their saying what the warranty is on one,good luck.
I have a 2008 Dodge Magnum and was trying to see if anyone could help on how much and where i could possibly get this done...Want to place bigger spindles on my car so I could get some bigger rims without lifting it. Looking to get 26s on my magnum now I already had 24s. (Houston)
Answer:Physical part: You're not going to find bigger spindles. They simply don't make them. Third opinion part: 26's are just.... no. It doesn't look good. They will just be stolen, and your car will look better on cinderblocks than it did on 26's. Even your current 24's are too big to look good.
I want to upgrade my magnum. One of the things i want to upgrade to is a sunroof for it. About how much would that cost?
