I currently own 2005 Toyota Rav4 and the car payment is about half done. I'm planning to trade my rav4 to Infiniti G37 Journey, but I have a bad credit score(600) :( My question is: Is $5000(trade-in value) enough to cover the down payment? Is it possible to get a new car with my credit score?
Answer:Please take my advice, do not trade in your car. Generally, car dealerships have a certain price that they cannot go below. For example, the sticker price on a car may be $18,000 but they can go as low as $14,000. I suggest you try your best to get the price as low as you can. Sell your Rav4 on your own, while it may not be as easy, the outcome is much better. Also, I stress that you do not buy this new car until you have enough money to pay at least half of it off beforehand. With bad credit, banks will jump to give you high interest loans, you'll spend so much money in the long run that the new car won't be worth it.
I read somewhere online that this program is installed in the the M series, is this true?
Answer:I would say no. There is a black box in every new car that can record that information, but as of now you just can't transmit it to the police.I see it happening in the future .
I only drive the car about 5000 miles per year and never in the snow or rain. The car is a pure "fun vehicle" that I want to ride as smooth and quiet as possible.
Answer:Buy an all-season versus a performance (summer tire). Also, don't use a wider tire than your tire sticker in the Infiniti recommends. Finally, buy a tire with a solid center tread and make sure you inflation pressures are correct. Good luck!
I have just had the car inspected and it came back with a clean bill of health but the mechanic couldn't find what the noise or vibration was. Does anyone have an idea?
Answer:Check the wheel bearing.
The engine rotates but wont turn. When it cools down after 45 min-1 hr, then it starts with no problem. I've also had the check engine light on for quite a while with a P0420 OBD-II code (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) but I'm not sure that this is related to the problem of not starting when the engine is hot. I've also noticed that after driving on the highway, when i release the gas, the RPM fluctuates up and down for a short while then slowly drops off to normal. Is this related??
Answer:did you have the coil checked?, it could be getting hot and breaking down.
