Tell me your reviews as far as performance, styling etc. Would you buy one?
Answer:The older and new models of the ES haven't really been a performance platform, and have been more about the luxury. I've driven one, it's a very nice, solid, comfortable, reliable car... It also does have some good power under the hood for simply cruising... I like the car for just a luxurious ride, however personally I wouldn't buy one due to the fact that i'm into performance tuning and this car isn't a good platform to work on for that, however if racing isn't your thing, this car will be great!
I need a car that be both sufficient on the highway and in the city, that drives pretty smooth.

So my dad has a lexus es 350, we went to fill up with gas and rent a movie and when we pulled out of the garage we noticed the naviagation screen isnt working. The radio works fine as well as any cds we played. It seems like just the screen isnt working. I called the lexus service department and they said it wasnt a known issue so they would have to look at it personally. Anyone know whats going on? or had this happen before???

Hello, Can anyone who has driven the camry and the lexus ES 350 tell me the differance between the two?. Because I really like the lexus but it's pretty pricey and if the camry drives and handles like it then I'd sooner get the camry. But I would like anyones epinion. I have looked at the new 2008 malibu and found the head room to be a bit low so it didn't work out but I really need a car thats very comfortable and smooth. Thanks.
Answer:The Lexus is worth the extra money. Although the Lexus shares the same platform as the Camry, the engine is tuned for slightly better performance and it has about 12 more horsepower than the "same" engine in the Camry. Also, the interior fit-n-finish and material used in the ES is much better than a Camry. So, question comes down to, do you think there is $10K worth of additional "luxury" in a Lexus than a Camry? Is fit-n-finish, more luxurious feel, and the badge worth $10K more? To me, if I'm keeping it for the rest of it's life... yes. If I'm just going to hold onto it for say a few years and sell... maybe not.
