The GS uses a 3.0 Straight 6 cylinder that is borrowed from the Supra and saw action in the IS300 as well. It is sportier and has more power. It is also rear wheel drive, where as the ES is front wheel drive. Overall, both are good cars that rarely break down. There are still plenty of them on the roads and they have reputations for running well into the 200k mileage territory.

Answer:Good cars. Their made by toyota so you shouldnt have any major problems. Should get good mpg and have nice interior too. The insurance will be decent on it because its 8 years old
