  • Lincoln Continental?
I am considering buying a 93 Lincoln for 1000 bucks. It has no rearview mirror, no air, and the drivers side window doesnt work. Was originally asking 1500. What should I do?
Answer:"I work for a car dealer and I tell all my customers if they can't afford a new Lincoln, they surely can't afford an old used one." Could not have said it better myself. A '93 model year Lincoln Continental is one of Ford's WORST vehicles. The 3.8L V6 is extremely prone to timing cover/head gasket failures. The air struts and the air suspension compressor are also very prone to failures, let alone the transmission. All of the above mentioned items are easily more than double, if not triple the $1,000 in cost to repair EACH. You should run as fast as you can from this vehicle, as if Mike Tyson on steriods were chasing you! Hope this helps.
