Can I change the 4 speed auto in my Mercury Marauder to a 6 speed manual?

Answer:Yes a Marauder is faster but not by much. The SS uses a 5.7L 16 valve push rod LT1 V8 putting out 260hp and 330 ft-lbs of torque, and the Marauder has a DOHC 32 valve 4.6 V8 putting out 302hp and 318 ft-lbs of torque. Also the gears are more aggressive in the Marauder witch has a 3.55 rear end to the Impala's 3.08. But the biggest difference is in the way they handle. The SS is very sloppy and handles poorly, while the Marauder handles very well for a car that weights more than 4000 lbs. Also a small note there were 69,678 SS's made but only 11,052 Marauders made.
Answer:The cheapest and most convinient way is to simply buy one at Best Buy. They should be no more than $90 and are just as useful as normal ones and will probably save you thousands. But if you want one built into your car, I wil tell you it will be very expensive because Marauders were not designed to have a navigation system.

Did the Red Mercury Marauder (2004) ever come with black, instead of tan, leather? I know the black marauder in 2003/2004 had a black interior, but I haven't seen the black leather in the other colors. Anyone know?
Answer:There were probably some custom orders like what you are looking for, and now that the Marauder has been discontinued, you'd have to look hard to find a used one like that. It exists, but is extremely hard to find.
