Can you download ebooks from the internet? Does it come with Word, is it similar to a regular laptop, only smaller and easier to carry around? I wouldn't need it for much storage, just a few books and perhaps a file or two that I could easily transfer to my passport.
Answer:E-book readers do not really "come with Word." Yes, you can download e-books from the internet, a good example is the Amazon Kindle. You do have to buy the e-books though. If you want to transfer things in and out of the device, you should get a mini laptop--netbook. Netbooks do the same as a laptop, but are smaller and much lighter. Plus, on a netbook you can download e-books in PDF format, or get special e-book software, like the PC version of Amazon Kindle.

I have a Mbox 2 Mini hooked up to two monitors and they play the sounds coming from Pro Tools, but none of the other sound sources on my computer. I have been told that I can do this by making the Mbox 2 Mini the primary sound driver for my computer, but I do not know how to do this. Im running XP
Answer:Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>click on the Audio tab, change the default device to your Mbox, click OK. Done :) Enjoy!

My friend got this camcorder, it didn't come with an installation disc. He would like to know how to get the videos from the camcorder to his laptop using a USB cable. Thank you for your help.
Answer:If you have a mini dv (cassette) camcorder…. Your dv camcorder needs a firewire connection (ieee 1394) in order to download video, your PC probably did not come with a firewire port, so you will have to buy one and install it, since most computers (except possibly brand new) don't come with a firewire port, your camcorder did not come with a firewire cord so you have to purchase a cord too. Your camcorder did come with a USB cord and that is used for downloading stills from your camcorder. Make sure your camera is in playback mode. The fine print in your manual makes reference to firewire (ieee 1394) connection.
