Answer:Wait a minute there squirrely... The G8 GT (V8) economy rating is 15/24, the V6 is 17/25. You're only talking about a 1 MPG difference at the top and 2 at the bottom. Combined numbers are very similar. That is because the V8 comes with a 6 speed auto, vs a 5 speed in the base G8. Therefore I wouldn't shy away from the V8, at least not for economy reasons. I've driven several, and have ordered a GT for my wife. I think they are fabulous. BTW, I have the sister car - the 2005 GTO. I absolutely love it. Based on that I would not hesitate to buy a G8.
I own a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP and want to install nitrous. 75-175 hp shot preferred. Stock 6.2 L is what the car has. I want a kit that is ready to go, not a universal kit for any ol EFI V8.
Answer:To answer your Q: you got the GXP so theres not that many things i see. i found this exact fit for a g8 GT but not for yours you could use this but might need little modifying though. you can email these people to be sure and you can find other stuff for you G8 in this site. they have some really good stuff to increase lots of HP. you got a Corvettes engine try looking for some corvette parts that can fit in your engine. hope i helped: www.pfyc.com and other thing your lucky to have the G8 GXP i wanted one too but im still 16 plus its too expensive so i just want the G8 GT. its really cool and fast and its a 4 door and a Pontiac. have fun driving that car.
On the Pontiac Bonneville and Grand Prix (since at least 1998) you could get a heads up display that shows miles per hour on the windshield. Is this option available on the new G8?
Answer:Unfortunately, no... And AFAIK, not in the works for 2009 either.
They Cancelled the 2010 pontiac g8 st sports truck in january but i really need this car its the perfect vehicle for my mom i dont care what color or anything i just need one I know it didn't exist i'm saying like i need the parts i have also considered the Ford Falcon xr6/xr8 ute but its only available to australia are there any sport trucks in U.S.
Answer:It was not a Concept Vehicle, at one point before GM started going downhill Pontiac had the G8 ST on their Future Cars list, meaning it was going to come out, it was no longer a Concept. I know in Aus they have G8's only its a Holden Commodore ST but has the exact same body as the G8, as you know GM owns Holden so its pretty much the same car, just different manufacter. As far as getting the 2010 Pontiac G8 ST, thats impossible they never had the chance to produce them.
When is it set to hit showrooms? I keep finding a ton of articles on it but nothing about when it will be available. I know the price is a little high but I'm in urgent need of a new car so I'm gonna go for it once they're out. This will be my first brand-new car so I'm really excited. Thanks!
