Searching for a used car. Looking at a Toyota Avalon with 135,000 miles on it. How long can we expect this to last before problems with it, and what problems is it known to have?
Answer:Toyota makes a pretty dependable car, but the longevity of any vehicle depends on how well it has been maintained. If it has gone through it's regular service intervals, had the oil and coolant changed at recommended mileage, and not driven like a Formula 1 race car it should last well beyond 200K miles.
When I put my foot into it, my 2006 Toyota Avalon seems to alternate as to which front wheel is doing the pulling rather than evenly distributed. I had this happen before on my Camry, but don't recall the cause or what had to be repaired.
